Summer time means melon time at the farm! Our Melon Tasting Tours are the perfect day trip for anyone looking for something different to check out this summer!

What is a Melon Tasting Tour?

Melon Tasting Tours involve a guided tractor tour around the farm where you get to pick one seasonal vegetable to take home (subject to crop availability). The next stop on the tour will be the melon tent where our staff will serve up different summer veggies and a wide variety of melons grown by Tanaka Farms for you to sample. Afterwards you will receive a melon to take home. To end this summer outing you can check out all of our barnyard animals

Refund Policy: A 48-hour notice is required for cancellations to receive a full refund regardless of the time of booking. Bookings made less than 48 hours prior to start time are not eligible for refund. You may receive a credit for future use up to 2 hours before your reservation time.
CANCELLATION WITH LESS THAN 2 HOURS NOTICE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CREDIT, RESCHEDULE, OR REFUND

No-Show Policy: If you or any members of your party fail to attend your scheduled activity without prior notice, no refund or credit will be issued, as the space has been reserved specifically for you
You must arrive 15 minutes early to check in as tractors depart at their scheduled time. If you arrive after your scheduled time your tractor could leave without you. Late arrivals forfeit their tickets and not eligible for compensation. Tickets are non-transferable for late arrivals. No exceptions will be made at check in for late arrivals.
All paid ticket holders participating in the Melon Tasting Tours are entitled to receive one pre-picked melon to take home as part of their admission. Guests are responsible for transporting their melon to their vehicles at the conclusion of the tour. We encourage the use of reusable bags to assist with carrying melons. Personal wagons are permitted on the farm but must be left in the designated stroller parking area until the end of the tour.

Please note that melons provided to guests are pre-harvested by our farmers. Due to the physically demanding nature of melon harvesting, we do not require or expect guests to engage in this activity. Our farmers carefully select and harvest melons at peak ripeness to ensure the highest quality experience for our guests.
